A Note From Gilma

Dear Huntington Quilters,

When I first started quilting, I was so in awe of how welcoming quilters were and how willing they are to help you in any way that they can. Seventeen years later, I still feel that way. I have loved being a member of this guild and serving on the board. Thank you so much for my beautiful hat lady blocks which will always remind me of all of you and which I will treasure forever, and for your generosity with the donations for the troops and the books for the hospital. I want to thank you most of all for your friendship. Some of you have become my true friends and some of you are acquaintances but you have all touched my life in a wonderful way. I will miss you all very much and I promise to visit and show you the completed hat lady quilt. My address is in the roster. Please feel free to call me and stop in if you are in South Carolina!

Love always,
Your friend,
