This is your October 1, 2019 Meeting Reminder.

The meeting will be held at Christ Lutheran Church Hall, located at Burr Road and Larkfield Road, in East Northport. The meeting starts at 7:30 pm, but the hall is always open earlier for set up. Won’t you try to stop down a bit early and help us set up for our meetings.

The Fat Quarter theme for this months meeting is HALLOWEEN.

HOSPITALITY – Joan C. and Diane M…..Hi Ladies – Thanking you in advance for your desserts & goodies at our monthly meetings. If you get a request card and can’t make the meeting ask a friend to help out with a dessert. Thanks, Joan & Diane, Your Hospitality Committee

PROGRAMS – Michelina M….OCTOBER – We have Pat Yamin as our speaker for the Tuesday, October 1 meeting at the Christ Lutheran Church. Pat will also be giving a class on Saturday, October 12, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM also at the Christ Lutheran Church. Gift Camp is on Saturday, October 19. PLEASE NOTE: THIS CLASS WILL BE HELD AT ST. FRANCIS CHURCH 29 Clay Pits Rd, Greenlawn. It is between Elwood Road and Cuba Hill Road! Starting at 9:00 AM

NOVEMBER – We will have Florence Baravarian, she will be vending feed sack fabrics.

Those who participated in the Row by Row will be presenting them.

Our UFO Challenge for #4 is due. Get cracking if you haven’t started already.

DECEMBER – Our Holiday Party. Bring in a homemade ornament. A gift for $10. For our gift exchange. REMEMBER: let it be something you would like to be gifted!

HONEY BEE RAFFLE – A chairperson is needed for this activity.

HOLIDAY GIFT CAMP – Lauren and Dale….We have set aside Saturday, October 19 and Mickey has arranged for us to use St. Francis Church’s Community room in Greenlawn. So anyone who has a small project or a project that can be completed in one day please email me at lctgorman@gmail.com. We have some great ideas already but are always happy for more! We would ask that you bring a sample to the meeting, as we will be starting sign ups at that time.

OPERATION VERONICA – Lucille….Thanks for all your donations. Please stop by the Membership Table for the donation box, donation list, pillowcase and washcloth instructions. The November meeting will be our main collection in honor of Veteran’s Day. But we will collect donations at all meetings. Thanks again. Lucille
