5/16/2020 A FEW OF MY FAVORITE QUILTS

Hello Ladies,

Here are the latest photos sent in by our members of their projects for A Few of My Favorite Quilts.

These are all so beautiful I can’t decide which ones I like best.  They are all too good!   I truly have no favorite.

Thank you for sharing  these wonderful photos.

This is quilt is definitely in my top ten: “Converged DNA” is a portrait of our son, daughter-in-law, and their son. It was created for the Quilters’ Consortium of New York State 2018 challenge (is Huntington Quilters Guild a member?), received First Place, and toured quilt shows throughout New York State.

Michelina’s Sampler Quilt

I took a class at city quilter not even knowing what the project was. To my shock, it was this Sampler. I knew I was in over my head but I was determined to see it through. My first time doing appliqué and I could see how much I improved between the first and last block!

Joan O’R’s Sampler Quilt

I loved working on this Little Treasures foundation pieced quilt in Judy’s class. We all used different color schemes making each one unique.

Fantastic work Ladies!  Hope you enjoy the quilts.

If you would like to have your work displayed, please send a photo and a short story regarding the project to Huntingtonquilters@gmail.com

I will post photos for A Few of My Favorite Quilts on Saturdays.

Thank you for your wonderful contributions.
