Operation Veronica is dedicated to ensuring that our brave men and women in uniform feel our support and know they are valued and appreciated.
Since 2005, Operation Veronica, based in Wading River, has been providing handmade, homeland support for our Military Heroes serving far from home. All donations are greatly appreciated; especially handmade pillowcases, food, and toiletries. On a weekly basis, these donations are sent to our Troops.
The Guild collection supporting Operation Veronica is held during the November meeting in honor of Veteran’s Day. A complete listing of donation ideas will be given out at prior meetings and emailed to members. Donations will be accepted throughout the year, with the major collection being our November meeting in honor of Veteran’s Day.
In November 2016, Guild members donated 65 handmade pillowcases and 5 cartons of food and toiletries to Operation Veronica. Thanks to all our Guild members for their continued support!
