WELCOME TO THE HUNTINGTON QUILTERS,
A Message From the Presidents
Hello and Welcome to the Huntington Quilters Guild!
If you have landed on this page you must be curious about who we are and what we do-
A guild is an association of people for mutual aid or the pursuit of a common goal.
Our Mission:
To encourage and foster interest in the art of quilts, quilting and related crafts. To master techniques, understand the tradition, and to use this knowledge to create and grow fellowship amongst our members
Meetings
When: 1st Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm September thru June
Where: Christ Lutheran Church
189 Burr Road (corner of Larkfield Road) East Northport NY 11731
Education
Each month a program is offered to expand our horizons. Within the Guild opportunities for projects and enrichment take place.
Community Involvement
Pivotal to the Guild is our contribution to our communities. Some of our activities include:
- Making and donating comfort quilts
- Collecting food and non-perishable items for the Helping Hands Mission
- Participating in Operation Veronica to aid our women and men in the Armed Forces
Quilt Camps and Retreats
Yes! Even more fun and opportunities to learn, socialize and create.
We look forward to you joining us. If you have any more questions please call me. My cell number is listed on the member’s directory.
